A souvenir from Warsaw. Sawa is the name of a mythical mermaid, who protects the city of Warsaw. If you're lucky enough - she will protect the bookpage you've stopped reading at. The idea was to create a small object, easy to manufacture and carry and made out of a material that ages beautifully. Bookmark is a common thing used by people of (almost) all ages and can be easily brought back home in something that most of the travellers have with themself - a book.
